PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)

PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is a semi-crystalline, high-performance plastic belonging to the fluoropolymer group. The material is characterized by exceptionally high chemical resistance, excellent sliding properties, high temperature resistance, and very low water absorption.

Due to its unique properties, PTFE is used in technically sophisticated components that must function reliably under continuous high chemical or thermal stress, as well as in demanding sliding applications.
