PP (polypropylene) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic belonging to the polyolefin group. The material is characterized by excellent chemical resistance, low water absorption, good toughness, and low density.

Due to its favorable combination of chemical resistance, low weight, and good processability, PP is frequently used for engineering components that are exposed to moisture or chemical substances.
