PEI (Polyetherimide)

PEI (Polyetherimide) is an amorphous, high-performance thermoplastic. The material is characterized by high mechanical strength and stiffness, high temperature resistance, good dimensional stability, and very low water absorption. In addition, PEI is self-extinguishing.

Due to its stable property profile, PEI is used for technically demanding components that must function reliably under elevated thermal, mechanical, or electrical stress.
